Bringing the dead back to life is typical fare for zombie movies. And those resurrected dead don’t look all that good. With soils, it is a different story. Biosolids have been used to restore both dead and near-dead soils for decades. Restoration with biosolids was one of the first beneficial uses and it's still one of the best. This webinar will showcase a broad range of soils brought back to life and health with biosolids. First, we'll start with the basics of restoration and show how those were applied to metal-contaminated sites in the EPA Superfund program. From there we will head to agricultural soils in the Central Valley in California that have been brought back to health and high yields with biosolids. The webinar will end with a presentation from Sylvis, the company with perhaps the broadest experience of restoring soils with biosolids in the Northwest.
